Resistance is woven into the fabric of the Afro-Latinx story, from the fight against colonialism to present-day struggles for justice. This roundtable will feature activists, cultural workers, and artists who are using their platforms to resist systemic oppression and advocate for racial equity. Together, they will discuss how Afro-Latinx communities have historically organized and mobilized for change and what the future of resistance looks like in today’s sociopolitical climate.
